I should have bought off Amazon for a no hassle return. These clowns told me I could return the product. I communicated that I was out of town for two or three weeks because my Uncle had a heart attack. Then when I returned home, they back tracked and said return would be prorated, and wouldn't include the extra accessories that I had purchased.

S5 Steam vac doesn't save any time. I've used the product 1 time. Took over 4 hours to clean my kitchen and living room floors. I swept and vacuumed all dog hair prior to using this product. Within 30 - 45 seconds, I would have to constantly wait for the self clean cycle to complete. This happened repeatedly. And you have to perform a complete cleaning routine when you are done to prevent nasty odors. I was happy with the end result, but in no way is this product a time saver. I honestly can't tell if the product is defective, or just poorly designed.

Don't buy into the nonsense sales that they offer to buy direct. When it was all said and done, Amazon was $20 cheaper.

Additionally, I called because I was having trouble finding and applying the discount code on the tineco website. The associate I spoke to said not to worry, and to call back if I had any trouble at checkout and they would take care of it.

Bottom line, is they don't stand behind their product, and don't honor what they tell their customers. They did offer me a $20 dollar coupon, but I told them to keep it since I would not be buying another tineco product.

The Tineco Floor One S5 is amazing. My former machine left dry spots and required numerous passes. The Tineco is noticeably quiter, leaves no spots missed and does a good job near baseboards. My former machine was cumbersome so I neglected the floors. The Tineco is easier and now I often clean floors twice a week. So pleased.

I've only used the S5 Steam cleaner once, but I was very happy with the results. Consequently, I ordered the back up parts so I would have them on hand. They appear fine.

A must-have appliance for hardwood and tile floors.
