Tineco FLOOR ONE S5 Steam Smart Wet Dry Vacuum Cleaner with Steam

This has surpassed my expectations! I am so happy I made the decision to go with the Tineco brand.

The vacuum and steam feature cleans my floors extremely well. I also appreciate the ease of use. The dirty water and clean water canisters can easily be cleaned. It is seamless.

I've used the S5 Steam (corded) multiple times. I have LVP and tile floors in my house. I use steam on tile and no steam on LVP. I do not find the heavy cord burdensome. It's benefits are lower costs (no battery), less to go wrong (dead battery), and a steam function that offers multiple benefits.

You must use Tineco's cleaning solution. Do not put vinegar in it as cleaning solution for LVP. Vinegar is acidic and will not treat your flooring well over time. The directions state to use tap water. I have an RO system in my house, otherwise, I'd still use RO water bc where I live, the water is high in Cal.

The LVP floor in my house has a grain, so to avoid streaking, the S5 requires that I mopvum with the grain.

The front of the S5 picks up dirt as well does the front edge; however, the S5 struggles to pick up dirt on the backstroke. This happens because of the rotation of the mop. Its not a big deal bc I have adjusted my use of the S5 to match its engineering.

The mop is not able to mop directly up to edges, so it leaves approx 1" to 1.5" un-mopped, though vacuumed.

The S5 Steam option works well for steam cleaning tile floors AND for self-cleaning. I have not run into gross smells coming from the S5. I thank the steam self-clean function for the lack of smells. Additionally, I follow the cleaning guidelines and allow all S5 components to dry thoroughly.

I have used S5 with and without pre-vacuuming with a traditional vacuum. I admit that I prefer to pre-vacuum because the S5 is easier to clean and will run well for 1500+ sq ft of LVP without having to empty/clean the dirty water tank. If I do not pre-vacuum, I will usually need to empty/clean the dirty water tank 1 time for the same surface area. My wife and daughter's hair and other items that children drop will clog up the filters, which mean the filters are doing their job. I just prefer to pre-vacuum to get visible chunks and do so while I'm moving rugs.

The S5 does not go very far beneath couches and whatnot. This is due to the dirt water tank on its backside. This is a limitation though not a deal breaker.

I find the self-cleaning routine to be simple and logical. You must allow ALL of the components to dry between uses. I attribute the lack of gross smells to the steam self-clean function and allowing all S5 components to dry.

Yo, the S5 is pretty awesome. I think that it does what it was designed to do and it does it well. I like the cord, steam, and mop/vacuum functionality. It cleans the large hard surface areas well and in a timely manner. Does it save me time? Yes! I only wish it would mop closer to edges, but this con does not outweigh all the pros. I am a corded S5 Steam Tineco guy for life.

Just bought this cleaner after doing some research and am so glad not to have gone with the usual competitors. Seems to be built very well and is solid. Having dogs and tons of laminate and tile in my house that I used to have to vacuum and mop - which was a pain in the back - literally - and time consuming. I do still vacuum just to do fur pick up, this machine has saved me a ton of time and is very easy to use PLUS the results are far superior to mopping. Gets my floors clean and no streaking! I would recommend this to anyone looking and have done so to several friends.

I love the vacuum tho I wish it was a little lighter but I can understand it being heavier than expected due to the steaming function. I also wish the roller had open side so that it could flush to the wall.

I love it. I used to vacuum, walk around the house with lysol wipes under my slippers. I love how i have a vacuum and steamer mop to disinfect. I thought my floor is already clean but i love all the dirty water that i see after I used this. It cleaned so well. The self cleaning feature is also to love.
